Introduced in 2024, this feature makes dealing with flight delays a breeze by offering access to over 1,400 airport lounges worldwide. Travellers simply register their flights two hours before departure, and if there’s a delay of more than 60 minutes, a free lounge pass lands right in their inbox - no claims needed.
This smart move fits perfectly with what today’s travellers want, bringing them comfort and ease when the unexpected happens. It’s a new twist on insurance, focusing on quick, real-time perks instead of the traditional claims hassle.
Impacting Customers and Operations
Huddle’s Smart Flight Delay has helped reduce the stress of air travel, letting its members enjoy the journey rather than worry about the inconveniences of delays. Around 10% of their International Comprehensive Travel Insurance customers have already taken advantage of the service since its rollout. This speaks volumes about its popularity and effectiveness.
